2) What CryptoSens is and what it’s for (summary)

CryptoSens is an app to learn and practise crypto investing using virtual money, wallet tracking, alerts, and educational leagues/competitions, with real-time market data and tools to analyse price movements.

Important: CryptoSens is for informational and learning purposes only and does not constitute financial advice.

3) Data we collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we may process the following categories of data:

• Account data: email (if you register), username (nickname), internal identifiers (e.g., user ID).
• Wallet and usage data: wallets created (name, type: Testing/Alerts/League), fees (maker/taker), coins added, positions, amounts, entry/fill prices, movements (virtual buys/sells), rankings, points and league statistics.
• Notification data: device token/push token and related preferences so we can send you alerts, reminders or Service-related notices.
• Technical data: device and app information (e.g., version, language, approximate country/region, device time zone, error/crash events, installation identifiers).
• Analytics data: usage events (e.g., “coinAdded”, screens visited, interactions) and performance metrics to understand how the app is used and improve it.
• Support data: if you contact us, we will process the content of your message and minimal data to respond (email, subject, etc.).
• Subscription/payment data: if you subscribe, the purchase is handled by the relevant platform (Apple App Store / Google Play / Web). We may receive technical confirmations of subscription status (e.g., “active/inactive”) to enable features.
• Market and price data: we display prices and market data obtained from external sources (e.g., Binance) to present real-time information and calculate metrics within the Service.

We do not process special categories of personal data (health, religion, etc.) as part of the normal operation of the Service.

4) Data we do NOT collect (clarifications)

• We do not access your gallery/camera unless a specific feature explicitly requests it and you authorize it.
• We do not sell your personal data.
• CryptoSens does not require your bank details to simulate trades in virtual mode.

5) Purposes of processing

We use your data to:

• Provide the Service: create your account, let you create wallets, add coins, simulate buys/sells, and show performance, rankings and leagues.
• Alerts and notifications: send you notices when conditions are met (e.g., price thresholds) and operational communications (e.g., league notices).
• Improve and secure the app: detect issues, prevent fraud/abuse, monitor performance and improve the experience.
• Analytics: understand which features are used, which screens work best, and what needs optimization (in aggregated form whenever possible).
• Signals, analysis and AI (if applicable): generate or summarize signals and informational content within the Service using automated processing. This content may be based on market data and Service metrics and is intended for informational/educational purposes.
• Customer support: respond to inquiries, incidents or requests.
• Legal compliance: when necessary to comply with legal obligations or respond to requests from authorities.

6) Legal basis (GDPR / UK GDPR)

Depending on the case, we process data based on:

• Contract performance: to provide you access to the Service (account, wallets, leagues).
• Consent: for example, for push notifications (depending on your settings) and, on the web, optional cookies/analytics where applicable.
• Legitimate interests: security, abuse prevention, and improving the Service (minimizing data and respecting your rights).
• Legal obligation: where applicable.

7) Service providers and third parties (data sharing)

To operate CryptoSens, we share data with service providers acting as processors under appropriate agreements and security measures. We use, among others:

• Infrastructure and database: Google Cloud and Firebase (e.g., Firestore, hosting, logs, storage and related services).
• Product analytics: PostHog (usage events, performance and metrics).
• Web/app analytics (if applicable): Google Analytics to measure visits, navigation and performance (subject to configuration and consent where applicable).
• Notifications: Apple Push Notification service (APNs) and/or Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver notifications.
• Charts: TradingView or equivalent components to display charts and visualizations.
• Market/price data: Binance (or equivalent sources) to obtain prices and market metrics.
• Subscriptions: Apple App Store / Google Play and a subscription manager (RevenueCat) to validate access status and enable features.
• Signals processing (if applicable): OpenAI or other AI providers to generate/summarize informational content. We aim to minimize the data sent and avoid including personal data when not necessary.

We may also share information if necessary to comply with the law, protect rights, prevent fraud or respond to valid requests from authorities.

8) International transfers

Some providers may process data from outside the EEA/UK. When this happens, we will apply appropriate safeguards as required (e.g., EU Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK IDTA, or other equivalent mechanisms).

9) Data retention

We keep data for as long as necessary to provide the Service and meet legal, security and support obligations. In general:

• Account and wallet/league data: while you keep your account active.
• If you request deletion, we will delete or anonymize your data unless we must retain it for legal obligations, security, or defense against claims.
• Technical and security logs (e.g., error and activity logs): typically up to 12 months, unless investigation or legal compliance requires longer.
• Analytics data: typically up to 24 months (or less if we apply minimization/shorter retention).

10) Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data (access controls, encryption in transit, security best practices, etc.). However, no system is 100% foolproof.

11) Your rights

Depending on your location (e.g., EU/EEA and the UK), you may have the right to:

• Access your data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion (“right to be forgotten”)
• Restrict or object to certain processing
• Data portability
• Withdraw consent (where applicable) without affecting prior lawfulness

12) Account deletion and subscriptions

You can delete your account in the app (Settings → “Delete account”, if available).

Important: deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. You must cancel it in the store where you purchased it (App Store / Google Play / Web).

13) Cookies and web

If you use CryptoSens on the web, we may use necessary cookies for the site to function and, optionally, analytics/marketing cookies if you accept them (as per the cookie banner and your preferences).

14) Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us so we can delete it.

15) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when necessary. We will publish the updated version in the Service and indicate the update date. If changes are material, we may notify you within the app.

17) Information for the U.S. (incl. California – CCPA/CPRA)

If you reside in the U.S., certain state laws (such as California’s) may grant you additional rights regarding your personal data, such as: access, correction, deletion, and information about the categories of data collected, the purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom it is shared.

We do not sell your personal data. If we ever engage in “sharing” for behavioral advertising under applicable legal definitions, we will provide opt-out controls and disclose it in this Policy.
